Please note that the following terms and conditions apply only to snorkeling and scuba diving tours. Land tour policies will be provided upon quotation.
I. TERMS OF BUSINESS
1. Price and payment
All prices on our website or sales literature are based on booking directly with OnBird Phu Quoc and are subject to change.
All prices are VAT-exclusive and valid till 30 September 2027.
All daily tours are subject to minimum participant numbers.
Payment by card is available via our online payment system (with a utility fee of 3,5 – 4% of the transaction).
Cash payments
Cash payments can be made for the final amount directly to the OnBird Office or in-charge staff upon arrival, thereby avoiding additional fees.
Seasonal Pricing and Holiday Periods
For the 2026/2027 inbound travel season, OnBird Phu Quoc applies the following commercial periods:
High Season
- 01 October 2026 to 30 December 2026 (except Christmas holiday)
- 03 January 2027 to 04 February 2027
Peak Holiday Periods
- 24 – 25 December 2026 (Christmas Holiday)
- 31 December 2026 to 02 January 2027 (New Year holidays)
- 05 February 2027 to 10 February 2027 (Tet Holidays Season)
All other dates are considered Low or Shoulder Season, subject to the applicable product and availability.
Holiday surcharges may apply to services operating during Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year and Vietnam National Day (30 Apr, 01 May, 02 Sep). The applicable surcharge will be stated in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Land tours, private yacht products, including Corallia, may be subject to specific seasonal, holiday and cancellation conditions stated in the quotation or booking confirmation.
2. Guaranteed reservation and deposit
Depending on the dates and type of service, a deposit may be required to secure your booking. The deposit may be made by credit card, local bank transfer, or cash.
The standard deposit is 20 to 50% of the tour price, unless otherwise stated in the quotation or booking confirmation.
For Peak Holiday periods, private yacht charters, Corallia and other services with limited availability, OnBird may require a higher deposit or full prepayment. The applicable payment conditions will be confirmed at the time of booking.
VAT and applicable payment processing fees will be stated in the quotation or booking confirmation.
The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment deadline confirmed by OnBird.
3. Travel Insurance
Where travel insurance is included in the booked service, coverage is provided through the applicable insurance provider and is subject to the relevant insurance policy, coverage limits, exclusions and claim assessment.
All OnBird experiences include travel insurance with coverage of 30,000,000 VND/person/case. If you would like to increase the coverage amount to 100,000,000 VND, please let us know. Before the tour, please provide us with your passport number, year of birth, and name as the information to register travel insurance. In case of missing this or delaying providing this information, OnBird won’t take responsibility for travel insurance.
In the event of any accident or incident occurring during the tour, compensation and coverage (if applicable) shall be handled in accordance with the policy terms and assessment of the insurance provider.
Regardless of insurance participation, OnBird will make reasonable efforts to provide necessary support and assistance within the scope of our operational responsibilities and practical capacity on a case-by-case basis.
4. Cancellation Policy
a. Cancellation initiated by the guest
For bookings operating during the designated High Season and Peak Season periods, the following cancellation policy applies:
- Cancellation more than 72 hours before the scheduled departure time: Full refund.
- Cancellation between 36 and 72 hours before the scheduled departure time: The deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellation or modification within 36 hours of the scheduled departure time, or no-show: 100% of the booking value will be charged. If only a partial deposit has been paid, the remaining balance will still be due and is non-refundable.
- The above cancellation policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation or modification, except where otherwise required by applicable law or where OnBird agrees otherwise in writing.
Private yacht products, including Corallia, are subject to specific payment and cancellation conditions stated in the quotation or booking confirmation. In case of any inconsistency, the specific conditions confirmed for the private yacht booking shall prevail.
b. Cancellation initiated by OnBird
- Bad sea and weather conditions
OnBird may cancel, postpone or modify a marine activity when sea conditions, weather, waves, currents, tides, visibility or other operational factors may affect the safety or suitability of the experience.
The final decision to operate, modify, postpone or cancel a marine activity may be made by OnBird and/or the vessel operator or captain based on safety and operational conditions.
If OnBird cancels the tour due to unsafe sea or weather conditions and no suitable alternative date is accepted, the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled service.
OnBird will notify customers as soon as reasonably practicable when a cancellation or significant itinerary change becomes necessary.
- Minimum Participant Number
Some shared tours require a minimum number of participants to operate. If the required minimum is not reached, OnBird may cancel or reschedule the tour and will notify the customer in advance.
In such cases, the customer will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled service, unless an alternative arrangement is mutually agreed.
- Other unforeseen circumstances
OnBird Phu Quoc reserves the right to cancel or modify a booking when reasonably necessary due to adverse weather or sea conditions, government restrictions, safety requirements, insufficient participant numbers, vessel operational issues, environmental considerations or other unforeseen circumstances beyond OnBird’s reasonable control.

Website information and service updates
Information published on the OnBird Phu Quoc website including tours, itineraries, vessel information, services, inclusions, exclusions, photographs and prices, may be updated from time to time.
Marine itineraries and activities may be adjusted where reasonably necessary due to weather, sea conditions, safety requirements, environmental considerations, vessel operations or applicable regulations.
Any material change affecting a confirmed booking will be communicated to the customer as soon as reasonably practicable.
II. TERMS OF TRAVELS
1. Some of the activities you may participate in while travelling with OnBird Phu Quoc can involve inherent risks. It is important to let us know about any medical conditions that you presently have (or have had) that may impact you whilst on board our boat and on any premises operated by us. Guests are responsible for providing accurate information regarding any medical condition, physical limitation, pregnancy, allergy, medication, swimming ability or other circumstance that may affect their participation in a marine activity.
Guests must follow all safety instructions provided by OnBird guides, crew members, the vessel captain and other authorized personnel.
2. Guests acknowledge that marine activities involve inherent risks, including vessel movement, swimming, snorkeling, water entry and exit, seasickness and changing sea conditions.
Guests agree to follow all reasonable safety instructions provided by OnBird and its authorized personnel.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable Vietnamese law.
3. OnBird Phu Quoc reserves the right to refuse to permit any passengers to participate in any of the activities, or to require proof of medical fitness to its satisfaction prior to permitting a person to participate in any of the activities offered.
4. OnBird Phu Quoc reserves the right to refuse entry into or upon any vessel, vehicle or part of OnBird Phu Quoc property to any person deemed by OnBird Phu Quoc employees to be intoxicated, abusive or acting in a threatening manner to any OnBird Phu Quoc employee or other person. The directions of any OnBird Phu Quoc employees MUST be obeyed and any refusal to co-operate may result in you being excluded from the tour. No refund will be issued to passengers who do not adhere to these requirements.
5. OnBird Phu Quoc reserves the right to alter the schedule of the tour, substitute a vessel for another, or cancel the tour without notice if circumstances require it to do so. Should this materially impact your tour, we will endeavor to notify you of any changes.
III. MARINE CONSERVATION AND RESPONSIBLE TRAVEL
OnBird is committed to responsible marine tourism and the protection of coral reef ecosystems.
Guests are required to follow OnBird’s marine conservation guidelines during all marine activities.
Guests must not touch, stand on or intentionally damage coral, feed fish or other marine wildlife, collect coral, shells or marine organisms, or dispose of food, oil, plastic or other waste into the sea.
For tours involving BBQ or food preparation, food waste, grease, cooking oil and other operational waste must be managed responsibly and must not be discharged into the sea.
OnBird may adjust or change marine sites where reasonably necessary to protect sensitive marine ecosystems or avoid excessive environmental pressure.
