Legal update on Covid-19 in Vietnam
Vietnam Government Office just issued the Notice 177 / TB-VPCP on the Prime Minister’s conclusions at the Government’s Standing Committee on Covid-19 prevention and control.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister has agreed to loosen the following restrictions:
– Remove space and limit the number of seats on public transport (airplanes, buses, trains, ships …).
– Permit the reopening and removing the gap for production, business, commercial and service establishments (except dancing halls and karaoke services), establishments must still take measures to ensure safety such as wearing a mask, disinfecting hands (particularly in restaurants just disinfect hands).
– Allow the organization of physical training and sports activities, activities with a large concentration of people, requiring the implementation of safety measures such as wearing masks and disinfecting hands.
– The medical examination and treatment facilities are back to normal operation, ensuring the demand for medical examination and treatment for people.
– No mandatory distance in school, classroom; students are not required to wear masks in classrooms; schools must implement measures to wipe, disinfect surfaces, clean classrooms, classrooms and toilets.
