INTRODUCTION

This full-day tour is a kind leisurely and local experience tour with farm a special cooking class at a local farm, followed by lunch prepared by yourself and a visit to Starfish Beach in North Phu Quoc.
It’s around a 20 – 40 minute drive from your hotel to the local farm in Cua Can area where we can pay a short visit to the tropical fruits and pepper – a speciality of Phu Quoc Island. There are approximately 385 ha of pepper plantations (as of late 2019 statistics) on Phu Quoc Island which are throughout the central and northern regions of the island – Cửa Dương, Gành Dầu Village, and Cửa Cạn.

You then enjoy the cooking class, learn how to cook Vietnamese foods and enjoy the foods together. Here we have an English-speaking cook who guides you and can organize a competition for small groups. After lunch, we’ll head to the northwest of Phu Quoc Island. Pay a visit to Rach Vem Fishing Village and take a local boat transfer to Ham Rong Beach (Dragon Beach) – a starfish “kingdom” which is still less touched by mass tourism.

Free and easy then get back to your hotel.

ITINERARY

8:00: Pick up at your hotel and head to the Eastern part of Phu Quoc Island (in the Cua Can area) where the farm and cooking class take place.

It’s a 40-min drive then you’ll reach a countryside atmosphere area.

9:00: Enjoy a welcome drink and taste some from-to-table products

9:15: Take a short visit around the farm and harvest vegetables in the garden.

10:00: Start to cook in group and enjoy the light lunch.

 Cooking menu:

Banh Xeo (rice pancakes) – a typical Vietnamese cake of Vietnam generally and the Southwest region in particular.

Also, you can study and enjoy the pancakes made by yourself in a closed cool and rustic restaurant with creative decoration.

13:30: Move to visit Phu Quoc  Rach Vem Fishing Village (around 30 min transfer by car)

14:00: Upon arrival at Rach Vem Fishing Village, catch a glimpse of the floating village in Northern Phu Quoc Island then take a local boat charter to Ham Rong Beach which is just a 10-minute drive.

14:15: Enjoy the untouched beauty of Ham Rong (Dragon Beach) with clear water and sea stars. Thousands of starfish from the ocean flood to the shore to “enjoy the moonlight” or “bathe in the moonlight”. That’s how the beach got its name – “Sao”, which means Star.

16:00: Get back to the hotel.

2. Children policy

• Children under 4 years old and sharing meals & drinks with parents are free of charge
