TOUR INTRODUCTION

Join the OnBird Phu Quoc team on a speedboat journey to explore the pristine nearshore coral reefs in the southern part of the island. Unlike conventional offshore tours, this unique experience reveals untouched coral ecosystems hidden beneath the ancient Phu Quoc forest. You will have the chance to marvel at massive rock coral formations and vast anemone gardens, including rare carpet and chrysanthemum anemones. Instead of spending long hours resting on crowded islands, this program offers a refreshing break at a scenic rock-top bar, creating a balance of adventure and relaxation.

• Optimal timing for an in-depth snorkeling and relaxation experience: with efficient transfers via car and speedboat to minimize travel duration and mitigate seasickness. This approach eliminates the need for a full-day commitment, as many advertised tours lasting 8-9 hours are significantly prolonged by slow transportation via large boats, car journeys, and shopping site visits, comprising a substantial portion of the total duration.
• No shopping site visits or raising the hidden fee
• For the preservation of the environment and marine life, the use of traditional fishing reels and fish feeding is prohibited on OnBird snorkeling excursions. (Reasons for refraining from fish feeding)

SURCHARGE

1. Surcharge for pick up outside Duong Dong Town, Bai Truong, and An Thoi areas as follows:

• 250,000 VND /Group: Ong Lang area (Mango Bay, The Shells resort,…)
• 300,000 VND/ group: Ham Ninh areas 
• 450,000 VND/ group: Cay Sao Beach areas (Jade Mountain resort, Naomi, The Pier,…) 
• 350,000 VND /Group: Cua Can area (Movenpick, Green Bay,..)
• 450,000 VND /Group: Vung Bau/ Vinpearl area/ Bai Dai)
• 500,000 VND /Group: Ganh Dau area (Sea Breeze..)

2. Children’s policies

• Children from 4 to under 14 years old (able to swim) AND under 155cm tall: Charge half of the adult’s price
• Children from 15 years old + OR from 155cm tall: Charged an adult’s price

3. Holiday surcharge: 100.000 VND/ person will be applied on National Public Holidays (30/4; 1/5), Lunar New Year 

• Kindly ensure that you have a substantial breakfast or lunch and procure seasickness pills independently, at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure, to maintain optimal energy levels.
• Please remember to bring snacks as outdoor activities may induce hunger
• Prepare a long-sleeved shirt or swimsuit for snorkeling to safeguard your skin and reduce reliance on sunscreen. READ WHY.
• Consider bringing towels for warmth upon return, dry clothing for changing, and a waterproof camera for capturing underwater footage
• Participants demonstrating signs of intoxication  (read reason) prior to the tour may be denied service. In such instances, refunds will not be issued.
• In the event of unforeseen inclement weather conditions, we will issue an apology and notify participants of tour cancellation through email the evening before or by nightfall. OnBird typically forecasts weather conditions 5-7 days in advance, allowing for ample preparation time so you can trust in our operation

• Due to the nature of this activity, individuals with impaired physical mobility or those using wheelchairs are advised against participation.
• Individuals with medical conditions such as high blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, severe asthma, as well as pregnant women, and seniors above 65 years old are advised against participation. We encourage those with specific conditions to reach out to us for further discussion and assistance.

• OnBird keeps our tour group sizes small—no more than 10 guests—By limiting each group tour to just 9–10 adult participants, we elevate the overall experience—ensuring more personalized guidance, greater privacy, and extended time exploring the most vibrant coral sites.

  This small-group approach also plays a vital role in protecting delicate reef ecosystems by reducing human impact, aligning with our strong commitment to sustainable tourism and coral conservation. Additionally, the smaller group size allows for greater flexibility in itinerary planning and enhances the cruising experience, contributing to a more comfortable and responsive journey.
